Call one of the boat parts places in Chaguaramas Trinidad and see if they have the bearing. Ask if they can send it on a plane? Fedex from USA is $98 for 2 lbs so that's out I guess. OTOH... how much... |

They can be very hard to get out. There may be an invisible set screw that has bondo hiding it. At any rate, I have sawed them lengthwise before to release them . Saw a slot one side and pry to make... |

I doubt it has anything related to overheating. Seems like that part ought to exist on Grenada, but Trini would have it. |

I cant tell anything from that pic. The key is does the shaft move in the bearing up/down or side to side? It should a bit, but not a real lot. |
