That a tough one I think. Personally I would seal them tight. The problem is, that a minimum open amount wont help at all. (like a bolt thru a hole drilled in fiberglass) It will just trap moisture....

:thumb: Yes, you can polish bolts/bolt heads to a glow in a drill press, quite easily. If they have raised lettering just use a file as the press turns the bolt to remove that.

Electro polishing is quite commonly used on railings etc. It works well but doesn't produce the mirror like finish of mechanical polishing usually. A lot has to do with the original finish of the...
