This engine is known for relatively low cooling water thru-put.

I do not know how little is too little (suggesting water channels blocked with scale or debris) BUT even at 100% clean it is way...

And yes. Ours is electric pump convesion.

But I never used the hand crank in 15 years now. Simply this engine starts.

Yep. MD7 great stuff a shame no longer available new.

You know that was before they converted to Perkins blocks and all that crap.

I would buy a new one.

But a new one now it is only a Bukh,...
