I am not sure how many performance cats are built, many use infusion but I hope they use interior furniture for strength. Most custom performance cats are built as hulls first and then structural...

Having designed a couple of small cats, I reckon it is because we want more stuff.

Not me - because I can't afford a big boat - larger boats need larger gear, and larger gear gets pricey really...
