Also you can use a sheet of paper gasket with the good thicknes and make a new one , i made some gaskets for my heat exchanger and no leaks until now, any NAPA around??

Loose the belt at the alternator and pump, grab the pulley at water pump and shake it , do you feel play?? if yes the pump is toasted, if you dismatle the bolts holding the pump the coolant is gone,...

In the base of the header tank cap there is a small hose to allow for expansion coolant run to a small plastic tank and when cold coolant back to header tank i guess, do you see any leak there?
