Not reading good things about MLX3. Some say the original MLX was better. Looked into Yale Cordage too and thought their Crystalyne might be an option, but it's just as expensive as EnduraBraid. ...

Has anyone used Samson MLX3? It’s a dyneema/MFP blended core. Much better stretch numbers than poly and their 14mm strength is s8mikar to poly 16mm. I just realized it is made in 14mm, although,...

Endura Braid is my go to for dyneema core line, which I use for halyards. I really like the Euro colors too. It’s pretty stiff and I’m not sure how it would run on a winch, as a genoa sheet....

Not sure I'm following all that feedback. Sta-Set is not stiff and, while one could use it as a halyard, I don't think any poly double braid is ideal for that purpose. I use spectra/dyneema lines...

Alternative Genoa Sheets

The spec on our boat calls for 16mm (5/8") poly double braid sheets. It's a bit hard to pull into the self tailers, even though they are rated to 3/4", so we'd like to try upgrading the line...
