Regarding these locations Bill, I didn't realize Hatteras was an option. The few times I've been to Hatteras, Buxton & Avon, I couldn't find a single sailboat. I figured the water was just too...

Our boat drafts 5.5 feet. the mast is 55 feet.

East Coast of NC

I'm planning to move our 36 ft Catalina to the Coast from a lake and trying to decide on where to slip. I believe I've narrowed it down to, Morehead City, Beaufort and Oriental.

Suggestions?
