OCPN on my Linux / 4k small display setup is now up & running & quite usable...I can live with the few annoyances left as reported in my last post.

Yes indeed, Kubuntu in that respect with other linux distribution like Ubuntu has this setting. Mine is set to 200% as you can see in the screen...

Indeed it is... but the ramification of OCPN not scaling properly is spread across many dialogue windows.

The illustrated case of the radar dialog shows that a bigger fonts expand outside...

Ok, here is what I was able to do so far. Playing with the Window manager theme or gtk settings can set radar dialogue window size bigger but the content of the windows does not resize.

I am still experimenting and I will publish my findings in another thread and report the problem to the dev team. What I can say for now is that Old Raymarine SeaTalk1 to NMEA converter box was used...

- GPS+AIS via USB to PC (That is on COM4);
