IIRC BoatUS towing and other tow insurance plans will not do anything for you until you've been a member for 30 days. They know that a lot of folks will say "I'd like to buy insurance" and then call...

Bluntly, money talks. Any yard will allow you to PAY for dry storage, except for the fact that they are rightfully afraid you might abandon...
