Indeed! The archis are extraordinarily complex waters -- far more complex than any other place I've sailed. And extraordinarily beautiful -- some of the best cruising in the world.

They are vector charts, unfortunately, but I'll still have the German ones. Thanks for the tip!

Is he thinking about doing raster charts? Or expanding the coverage into the Baltic?

And Estonia is not included. So for about 300 euros you get just one corner of the Baltic sea.

Selling charts for such small areas is for coastal sailors, and at that price is not really feasible...

Yes, I'm already back in the UK, and normally buy updated charts in April before I leave.

I understand Swedish somewhat -- I speak German fluently.

I'll try to figure it out. But in short -- all official charts for about 1000 SEK? Is that the deal? That's more or less reasonable...

I'm interested in this -- I've been sailing these waters for the last 4 years, and am not very happy with the cartography I have for the extraordinarily complex waters of Eastern Sweden and the Gulf...

I am here to tell you that this is definitely true. I have seen with my own eyes a giant rock awash in a place where the chart showed 10 meters of water, and I hit an uncharted rock once,...

Entire Sweden is 1195 krona or about 130 euros -- that's actually not too bad. Much cheaper than NV and a wider area than they sell at one go.

You need two for Finland excluding the Gulf of...

I'm also interested in this question.

I used the CM93 charts (not for navigation!) last summer in the Baltic, and found them to be almost identical to the up-to-the-minute updated Navionics charts...
