Also remember that you must dispose of the old engine

Many times this means that the old engine must be decontaminated before it can leave the shipyard

This decontamination and disposal costs...

Perhaps ...depends on the installation And the level of detail

For instance it’s foolish to replace an engine and leave rotten 25 year old engine room insulation behind ...
