I opened the help file and clicked on the log file link and this is what was displayed in the text editor.

Yes. Chart outlines are turned on. I think that the center of the screen is centered over the ocean and not close to a coast line. I can't seem to get the screen to move left or right. I'm scaled out...

Hi, I just joined the forum. I installed OpenCPN Ver 5 on my Linux desktop. I'm using Ubuntu Ver 18 Bionic Beaver. It seemed to install ok. Downloaded a couple of NOAA charts using Chart downloader....
