Nevermind - I think I'm asking the wrong questions :(

I have both seals removed, measured them with digital calipers, and they are the same. So the 1/4" versus 7mm descriptions don't seem...

When fixing my leaking pump I checked the seal size on a few pump vendor sites and they were listed as: Johnson- Lip Seal, 24 x 12 x 7 mm Thick.

I found some advice online to buy this one...
