Thank you. Yes I like the older much more too, Lavezzi despite some production issues is the last mass produced cat by FP that sails well which was my focus and for my budget real performance cat...

I have a FP Lavezzi 40ft cat and those 3 panels are mounted directly above the factory davits and between the sugar scoops and are aprox 80cm above deck level without adding any length to the cat....

Suggest to use bifacial solar panels on davits and/or roof. Compared to normal panel they work with diffusion light and are delivering much more as they are much less sensitive to shading. Perfect...

Wrong panels for your purpose: These panels are not made to step and walk on them, they will be super slippery and screwed in a short time as the cells will break as there is no protective backing...

BMS does basically only high and low voltage cut off and this very badly. 2nd its fully integrated with the battery so you cannot separate that and cannot bypass anything as all is in their one...

Correct, i would use the BMV 712 as its showing you permanently whats going on with the battery and more importantly the alarms and you have all on the phone too.

My simplified suggestion would be:
400AH made out of 4x400AH Winston Lifepo4 cells, simple and state of the art cells ( you get 480-500AH as these cells are underrated:whistling:)
Daly 200A Smart...
