As posted, we got a masked man in from the boatyard, and emptied the bilge. I gave what information I had from the owner, whose only response to a request for information was, "get a bucket".

All there is is a shop vac... but, I found a boatyard willing to send someone over who can advise me up close...thanks for helping.

It seems tied ok, not under dock. Posted a photo of bilge (on Montana comment, I think, and in gallery).

The only hatch we've found is to the engine room... the electrical panel there has no switch specifying bilge or pumps, and no water in it. I lifted up a board down there, and there is some water...

Find the leak, indeed! I found that, and cut it off, but don't see where the water has accumulated in order to bail it out.
