I don't know for sure what's under the sole, or whether the bilge catchment area extends all the way to the stern. I assume it does--it's hard to imagine a boat this size being designed with... |

Thanks, Bill. Yes, the sole is fiberglass. I was thinking of an awning also, or perhaps louvres over the screen on the washboard. I'd prefer to have a dry sole also, but given the choice, I'd rather... |

I have a 22' Spindrift built in 1984. While the forward 2/3 of the cabin sole liner seems to drain any water from rain, spray etc into the bilge where I can pump it out easily, the aft sections,... |
