Re: Rule 2000 not lifting

Why only 1 1/8" for the 3700 instead of 1.5? It'll definitely move more water with the bigger hose. Also, ditch the cheap corrugated hose for something better quality and smooth bore. That'll also...

Re: Rule 2000 not lifting

Some of the electronic switches (like the Water Witch and the Whale switch) have a timed shut-off delay. You could also build something similar with a regular float switch if you power the pump...

Re: Rule 2000 not lifting

I agree with the diaphragm pump suggestion. A small centrifugal won't do well at lifting high enough, but a diaphragm pump will. Let that take care of small bits of water (no drainback and ability...

Re: Rule 2000 not lifting

That undersized, poorly connected mess will definitely do it. I bet with load on the pump from it moving water, the voltage probably drops even further. Some new, bigger wiring with good quality...

Re: Rule 2000 not lifting

With a run like that I'd expect your output to be cut down to 40 - 50% of the nominal rating, but it should be able to pump water through that hose. As cal40john said, it's rated for 1300 gph with 2...
