Might be hard to source the vac till I’m back at base in 1.5 weeks or so.

Any reason not to let the bildge pump the water out? My understanding is dawn is even ok to clean oil soaked ducks...

Gotcha, I bought one new 1100 auto (3 wire) so I’ll try to exchange the other for a new one at west marine.

My thought was because this is a shakedown cruise and since I’m single handing it, I’ll take the couple kt hit and take the ditch with a marina at most any turn.
