All joking aside, I have done a fair amount of welding on our 2 boats. And damage has been rare and minimal.

Bloody rust stains are a PITA but cosmetic.

Good enough. Replacing original port lights, need to enlarge old holes and then fill in some old bolt holes. Vetus portlights have a lot to recommend them but are fussy, very narrow flange and they...

Managed to burn a small hole in a sunbrella covered settee cushion today. About 1/8” diameter.

Any suggestions?
