As DH said, there's not a reason for a buoy ever. Just run a sinking trip line back to the boat. Don't need more than 10-12 meters usually, easy to use, easy to retrieve. |

Hasn't happened to me in the year we owned our boat here in the Med, tho there have been some super close situations nobody gave two turds about... but if it does come up, I have the idea to pull up... |
