It's not the size of the boat but the number of people that matters. Water makers are energy hogs. That is what makes them expensive to operate. A big boat with a generator or a large alternator... |

Joe, I think you need to look at a map. The San Juan Islands are a very populated area with many water sources. There is no need to make water, especially no need to make water with an emergency... |

I used this method for reserve water on extended ocean crossings. It works great. Don't know about orange juice residue but Coke bottles wash out easily and the water keeps just fine for months. ... |
