Read cheechako's post rel. insurance. If you have ever taken a Power Squadron or CG Auxiliary course drag that out. might get you a better rate on liability.

As I recall, there was a clause if you where in command of someone else's boat? I doubt that would apply. Seems it would be tow not transit.

I had a good experience with Tow Boat US years ago. However, they or any other tow co. is not going to insure his car after the accident.

With the stern shape I don't see an outboard bracket working. Can you get the engine looked at? It would seem getting Sea Tow to get you clear of the marina and then your options would...
