1. Switch the transfer pump on at the panel.
2. Attach QR drain/fill hose extension.
3. Open the drain valve on the oil pan.
4. Open the valve at the pump.

The previous owner of my Tartan 33 installed a reversible oil change pump. It works really well with the Universal 5424. I've never paid attention to the type of pump he used, but I'll be on the boat...
