You seem to misunderstand the concept. Generosity on the part of the giver is not begging. The "begging" refers to the receivers with their hands out asking for a free ride.

Left home at 15 and worked night shift through high school, then worked full time and did university at night. Bought my first real estate (cottage lot) at 18. I have never owed anyone a single penny...

No sympathy for a couple of irresponsible idiots. The tax payers now have to pay to clean up their mess. It's people like this that give cruisers a bad name in Florida.
