All sounds very familiar.
I did notice on one of the pistons a bit of rusty colour orange as well.
Are the seals on your pistons grey? Mine are (including the originals and the new set as well)...

We live on board so when the WM works well we use every day for few hours.
I flush every few days and pickle when not used for more than couple of weeks.
I also replace the pre filter every couple...

Hi ,
I started using my 20l/h few months ago.
After about 100 ish hours it started getting noisy and eventually sized up.
I got 2 new pistons and 1 new cylinder from Osmosea.
