I bought several random cheap "Dyneema" RV tow lines several years ago. I pulled them to breaking, and all exceeded the promised minimum breaking strength, though the strength was less per diameter... |

Excellent point. You really need the 6 sigma bars for critical design. On the other hand, our calculations of loading max and cycles are empirical at best. |

Why are you "very confident?" To my understanding (which could be wrong) Dyneema line has a track record running around pulleys both on boats and in logging applications suggesting better flex life... |
