Tanglewood that is exactly correct regarding the generator mode, It does not magically create more power but disables engine Protections based on RPM. On a smaller alternator it has no benefit...

This is correct. It disables the RPM curve if you want it. You also have other controls such as half power mode or turn int completely off if needed right from the app.
