Hey Paul. Yes.

About 10K. (after we already negotiated the first offer of course).

Also, the surveyor explained he had very few references for this boat since this model is not so common (the...

Re: Market Value vs selling value

I wanted to give you the conclusion.

Re: Market Value vs selling value

The Sabre 42 is currently listed...

Re: Market Value vs selling value

I am well aware of all expenses. And we also have a budget for work to be done. Also, no it is not an investment, it doesn't mean you don't need to keep it rational. The boat will need to be insured,...

Re: Market Value vs selling value

Nothing like that. IT is true that the owner had a leak in the water tank and water has done some very minor damages on the floor between the owner's cabin and the galley. The damage is very minor....

Re: Market Value vs selling value

I don't think so. I mentioned a Sabre in my shortlist above.

Concerning the price, the surveyor asked me.

I want to thank you all for brainstorming about the market price. I think I understand...

Re: Market Value vs selling value

Thank you for your advice. Yes, I am not totally decided yet. We did a survey for the Fabola Diva 451. The result is good (the boat condition is above average) with of course always stuff to do. The...

Re: Market Value vs selling value

Yes. However, I am trying to take a rational approach to this. There is no perfect boat and it will always end up being a compromise between how much we like the boat, the cost, and of course most...

Re: Market Value vs selling value

Thx you. This website named on your report is for professionals only? I am going to look at 3 more boats over the weekend any price reference would help. I am going to see a 1993 C&C 37/40 XL, A...

Re: Market Value vs selling value

Thx. I will need to check and see if the insurance is willing to ensure the boat at a higher value than the market value.
