The compressor draws approx. 7 amps. So at maximum, about 4 hours/day. When the boat is on the mooring, with a cold box, and no opening of the lid it runs as little as 2 hours. 200 watts...

We installed an Isotherm unit 3 years ago and are very happy with the performance. After researching the Smart Energy control we decided the benefit would be minimal.

Use the basic thermostat....
