I go into and anchor in deeper holes in these areas, but only if I have taken the tender in and thoroughly sounded and plotted a track first |

If you don't know don't go. Anchor out dinghy in and sound it out, get knowledge from someone who knows or follow in a deeper drafted vessel. |

Good luck getting liability only insurance here. Also in Queensland, not sure about other states, we have legislation in place for mandatory insurance for wreck removal/cleanup on boats over 15m. |

Most marinas, fuel docks and travel lift/slipways in Australia wont let you in unless you have insurance documents. Almost guarantees everyone has it. Almost. |
