For sure, and that being the case the last thing I would be charging up are toys no matter how small the drain. I would be saving all available power for important stuff, but others obviously think... |

Probably not but easy with opencpn. I have navionics on a $100 tablet, there is a button that does Google earth or map overlays as part of navionics. You do need a data connection when in use. |

Good dinghy with plotter/sounder is what we use if going into suspect areas. Then bring big boat in. Next thing to play with is transferring track/route from our dinghy SD card to opencpn on big... |
