If that is the big concern 2 volt cells in series could be used. No need to parallel at all.

120 volt nav lights are common on commercial vessels. Bulbs for Aqua Signal 40 series are available in 120 volts.

A DC/DC converter can supply any electronics.

I do not see a good reason for...
