Who is that through? ? Comprehensive through BoatUS was quoted at $1300/year....which I simply couldn't justify. But $277 is very reasonable.

For what it's worth, I have liability only insurance for my boat, and an umbrella liability policy on top of that. Boat policy costs $77/year and will pay salvage costs up to the average price of...

I think in the contentious photo their boat isn't beached, just floating in somewhat murky water.

For what it's worth, I was there that night, anchored just inside the pads and it was super dense. And it was foggy again this morning just a few miles north.

Scary. We motored in to John's Pass three hours before and happened to follow someone with local knowledge in, outside the markers. Feeling very grateful for that kindness.
