My understanding is that Navionics charts are just vector databases, so the question of "complying" --or not-- with any display standard is mote. It's all about the program that is using them.

I don't want to turn it off. I want to know what it means...

I guess I should be clear, since people here will assume this is OpenCPN. It is not. The program is PCPlotter, using Navionics...

What's this symbol?

This symbol appears on my vector charts, and is part of the "Nature of Seabed" layer. I haven't seen it before, and can not find it in Chart #1.

Anybody know this one?
