The electric blanket idea I mentioned only works for keeping you warm in bed when you are on board. It will keep you comfortable at 12V with minimum current. That is the only practical use for 12V... |

Your best bet is a thermal blanket. These typically run at 12V, 6A or about 70W. They cycle on and off (there is a temp setting knob), so you could expect a 30% duty cycle or about 20 AHrs total draw... |
