Looks like the pros use Soundown's aluminized mylar tape, e.g. p/n HTA30SC, available at Defender (https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=3018238)and other shops. |

Thanks sailormed. I've tried it and found it to be too stiff. It won't adhere well to softer surfaces, and is the devil to go around a corner. |

High Temp Duct Tape or What?
My engine bay hatch has 2" foam insulation that was edged with a duct tape. 5 years on, the tape is now gooey and falling off. I was going to replace it with 3M 8979N "Nuclear Grade" duct tape rated... |
