Yep! Replaced all sensors, switches and sensors but still had alarm. Received your note, went out to the boat, located sender in front of dist. That was the problem! Everybody has been telling me...

One more question on constant alarm. Is the oil pressure switch and the oil pressure sensor on the same component or are they two separate devices located in different areas of the engine block? ...

Thanks, thinking I will just replace all sensors and switches. The boat is thirteen years old and all original switches.

I have a 5.7 Merc Cruiser I/O, bravo 3. The alarm sounder will not stop! Temp gauge working, oil pressure gauge working and gear lube resivour full. A solid tone and sometimes an interment beeping....
