Seems to me to be the most efficient way to do it you are burning free wood to heat your home/boat and as a bonus you are also brewing your coffee.efficiency isn't always about cost or even speed . |

That is possible. All of my smallportable propane fueled appliances don't have the bottle inside of the unit. The bottle is outside and fully vissable.( leak testable ) I bet everyone would go... |

OK I read that as exactly what it says don't use portable gas appliances with integral( built in/ large tanks) instead of the disposable cylinders that they are designed to be used with. :banghead: |

Ron you really need to stop nit picking . Heating water via electric provided by solar via the batteries is just one little piece of the equasion . |

I paid 125 for my solar panel and 5 bucks for my pwm controller to charge the batteries that I got free . The wire to install the panels and controller were also free off a demo job last year. ... |

Ron remember some of us are on a fixed income . I do a bit of repair work but its going into the dead season here . Actual cost for me is 0 dollars for hot water with my electric pot on inverter.... |

Actually it does when you are like me I only have x dollars a month to spend on stuff like propane or alcohol for my stoves and just 100 watts of solar. ( I don't plug into the marina) actually use... |
