I thought you made a fair point but it takes our engine about an hour to get to its lowest oil pressure & fully warmed up & it definitely has no cooling problems. Its raw water cooled & oil temp...

I'd check oil pump tolerances as per manual if thats possible I didnt check the applicable w/shop manual. For example of higher oil pressure with viscosity change I get about 5psi hot increase going...
