Not in many truck/vehicle crashes that I've seen. I'd say vehicle fuel hose has to be fire resistant. You can see the standards printed on the fuel hose if you require to meet...

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with automotive fuel hose. I've never gone to a chandlers to buy fuel hose over decades & neither did my father.
Yanmar, in the service manual, says to change hoses...
