And me. I've been doing it for 18 years and its all new to me.:facepalm:

Out of interest do the people that have the twist problem disconnect their main halyard from the headboard after each use ...

Even on slugs you can flick the swivel.

Why on earth have you complicated it with a swivel.

And if you really want to uncomplicate things use a wichard 2:1 halyard shackle...
