Adding a battery is probably less expensive than the massive cables that would be needed to pull power from the house bank since it is far away.

On my 2016 Oceanis 45 I have two batteries mounted next to the thruster. I use it every time I leave from the slip or return because I have to rotate the boat 90° (it's a tight spot). I have never...
