FWIW, I've reported the change to GoFundMe. Pointing out that many thousands of dollars were raised initially to pay for the salvage costs. Others may like to do the same.

That pricked my curiousity, so I went back and had a look.

Someone gave then 10 bucks, making a total of $15, including the initial anonymous $5.
