FWIW, before Seahawk went to stainless for their feathering props, i had one and it was made of Aluminium Bronze. No material issues in that underwater usage. Jim |

The use of 2205 duplex stainless for chainplates is worth considering. Lots stronger, much less subject to stress or intergranular corrosion, not that much more expensive. Ours are now 26 years and... |
