Because the PDQ line was built locally, they are well-known and understood here. I've often thought that were I to get a cat, I'd go for the PDQ 36 or the Gemini 105 as being well-thought out designs...

Because it's true. You should see working boats on Lake Ontario. No salt means "aw, just let that ride another season. We'll fix it next winter!"

Quite frankly that's the main attraction of this place for me: a small number of active cruisers and working mariners.
