Actually, you originally asked for a tow to open water or nearby and you couldn't possibly do the needed work where you asked to be towed to, so I think you should be able to understand the confusion...

Can you explain why an inline primer bulb is less safe than an electric fuel pump or no pump? I'm pretty sure that almost every 20+ year old cruising boat that has been worked on by their owners...
