Buying a hull: I looked into building several years back. My understanding is no one stays in the buisness because too many bad build outs give the manufacturer a bad reputation and even the good...

If you don't want to comments, don't ask for them. You suggested a very unusual design. It's to be expected that people will be skeptical.

The original idea you suggested to build folding hulls...

If you just think it's a cool design and don't care about the cost, go for it but it seems like a whole lot of complicaton for minimal benefit.

How much are the folding extensions going to cost...

Keep the height off the water below 15' so you don't have to limit your cruising routes. What is the bridge deck clearance? It looks pretty high off the water.

I would keep the draft at 3' or...
