The math to this is simple and is not up for debate. Simulations may easily illustrate the exact angle of pull on the anchor, and this is what my article above...

Unless your anchor's a CQR a 10th the size it should be and in soft mud.

The position to use the kellet for this purpose not the same as the ideal...

The Anchor Buddy is great - if you want a kellet....

The Anchor Buddy is great - if you want a kellet. The launch & retrieval system is clever and built in, and the build quality is excellent.

But why do you think you want/need a kellet?...
