Very true. Another Southern California Baja CG issue is the "stuck mike" The CG would broadcast that someone has a stuck mike and for everyone to check. Presumable a stuck mike is in transmit mode... |

In San Diego on any midweek morning 90% of the VHF traffic is from Navy vessels broadcasting their location or other information. They don't use their name but always say "warship xx" where xx is... |
