Yes, I did get the temp sensor for the alternator.. great point.. but additionally I thought that the regulator also ramps the voltage up and down by way of the field wire?

I am no expert

my interpretation is that the primary issue is that whatever the standard BMS installed in a lithium battery cant take the heavy load of the starter, which is why most lithium batteries specifically...
